Women are trained to sew professionally, while also receiving critical services for thriving in America, such as English, computer and financial literacy. $30 provides 1 refugee woman for 1 ESL class. Elevate students regularly have a chance to contribute and serve the community by providing supervised child care support for mothers with Exodus Ministries.  Exodus House serves mothers from all ethnic backgrounds who have demonstrated a willingness to make positive changes in their life. These women are dealing with the residual pain of having been separated from their children for a long period of time and do not have the immediate financial resources to sustain their families. Exodus helps them and their families to become productive members of society by serving their spiritual and physical needs. Our Elevate Dallas students always look forward to spending time and having fun with children.
