Sponsor a team's participation in 1616!!    1616 is the flagship initiative of Ladd Foundation—a Canadian and U.S. registered nonprofit, founded by 2-time Stanley Cup champion Andrew Ladd and his wife, Brandy. 1616 is a FREE program designed to strengthen the mental game of young hockey players, both on and off the ice, with real stories from pro players and practical tools that build Connection, Confidence, and Character—for Players, their Caregivers, and Coaches. 1616 is about giving youth the mindset to face whatever storm’s ahead, together, because strong minds make better athletes—and even better humans.       Why It Matters (and Why It’s Working): 1616’s curriculum is research-based and evidence-informed—published in five academic journals and counting. Our content is award winning —three Anthem Awards and two Gail Awards for mental health innovation and impact. Our herd is growing—fast. We started with just 11 teams in our 2021 Pilot. By 2024? Over 435 teams across North America were part of the movement.  1616 is more than a program. It’s a mindset. A community. A charge forward—together.

KidSpace at KleinLife: Northeast Philadelphia is an after-school enrichment program for children in grades K-8. We provide a safe and nurturing environment designed to stimulate our students' social, cultural, educational, and recreational needs. After-school activities include gym games and sports, art, baking, swim, Zumba, and more. Homework Help is offered by certified school teachers after school Monday-Thursday giving students the opportunity to receive help and/or complete daily homework assignments.

Our STEM Program prepares grade school students ages 10-12 living in Philadelphia get ready for High School AP or IB program classes. This educational opportunity has been meticulously designed to teach students how to think and to help prepare them for their advanced placement courses at the high school level.
