About
Our mission at GBT Marine conservation is to rid our ocean of trash. There are garbage patches that accumulate in the ocean. Our goal is to prevent the trash from getting out to the ocean. We work in the Indian river lagoon in Melbourne, Florida. Three drones are sent out miles from each other, looking for trash, sweeping the river operated by three separate people. An hour later, there are then three boats that go out and retrieve the trash. The drones will drop a pin at each trash patch. The boats will then coast to the coordinates. We will dispose of the trash properly. It will be separated, and it will be recycled in Georgia and safely disposed of at a local Brevard landfill in Florida. My father‘s ashes are in the ocean so I believe it’s our mission to make our ocean great again.
