Support IAOP's partnership with Open Call Film Fest to host an annual Youth Filmmaker Festival in Phoenix, Arizona, open to youth ages 9-17. Donations will help provide opportunities for young filmmakers to submit films in categories such as Narrative, Documentary, Animation, and Episodic, with runtimes from 1-50 minutes. Contributions will fund monetary prizes, trophies, red carpet events, Q&A panels, workshops, and virtual streaming of selected films, fostering artistic creativity, growth, and guidance for youth.

This donation opportunity supports a specialized poetry program designed to help youth in challenging circumstances, such as those in juvenile centers and group homes. By engaging in poetry and creative expression, participants can reduce stress, alleviate symptoms of depression and trauma, and gain a more positive outlook on life. The program also incorporates Social Emotional Learning (SEL) strategies, breathwork, yoga, journaling, and coping mechanisms to provide a holistic approach to emotional wellness.

IAOP Youth Camps provide a comprehensive five-day program during school breaks for children aged 5 to 18. These camps integrate basketball drills with life skills education, including classroom exercises and discussions, to foster physical fitness, teamwork, and personal growth. Donations help tailor curriculum to diverse age groups and ensure access to mentorship and educational resources that prepare youth for future success.
