Owenwood holds a monthly Diapers (children and adult) distribution along with feminine and baby products which serves and average of 275 families each month. Our distribution is free to the community and your donation of $30 can help a family for one month!

Vickery Trading Company equips refugee women for long-term success through vocational training, personal development and fair wages. Women are trained to sew professionally, while also receiving critical services for thriving in America, such as English, computer and financial literacy. $30 provides 1 refugee woman for 1 ESL class. Vickery Trading trains up to 15 women at a time.

Empower with English Language Skills

Elevate students regularly have a chance to contribute and serve the community by providing supervised child care support for mothers with Exodus Ministries.  Exodus House serves mothers from all ethnic backgrounds who have demonstrated a willingness to make positive changes in their life. These women are dealing with the residual pain of having been separated from their children for a long period of time and do not have the immediate financial resources to sustain their families. Exodus helps them and their families to become productive members of society by serving their spiritual and physical needs. Our Elevate Dallas students always look forward to spending time and having fun with children.

Neighborhood Bike Works

We offer Fleet Bicyles for those wanting to participate in our program but do not own their own bike.

Our summer camp combines elements of our two entry-level programs, Earn-A-Bike and Ride Club. Youth will learn hands-on mechanic skills and experience the outdoors by bike!

Send One Rider to Our Summer Camp

Ride Club is our first Watershed Trailblazers level. It is a four-week after-school program that enables youth ages 8-18 to explore Philadelphia by bike! Through group rides, youth explore natural, historic, and artistic spaces in West Philadelphia. Ride Club emphasizes bike safety and rules of the road, along with the joys of bicycle adventure.

Support Ride Club

In our Earn-A-Bike class youth learn the basics of bike repair and maintenance by fixing up a bike that has been donated to Neighborhood Bike Works. At Earn-A-Bike graduation, students are able to keep the bike they've refurbished and they can also bring home a lock and helmet. Additionally, the class includes lessons on safe urban riding, health, and nutrition.
